Torry Martin is a comedian, author, screenwriter, actor, speaker and storyteller who has delighted audiences for years with his zany personality and warm heart. This hilarious self-confessed “hippie for the Holy One” uses his creative way of looking at life to draw people in and quench their thirst for laughter while imparting important spiritual truths at the same time. He is a two-time Christian Artists Gospel Music Association grand prize winner for his acting and writing abilities.
Torry is a writer for Adventures in Odyssey, the Focus on the Family radio series, and he created Wooton Bassett, a popular character in the series. He writes for seven magazines and is known for his humor column in On Course, a magazine for teens, as well as his “Wooten’s Ramblings” columns for Clubhouse Magazine.
Torry’s stand-up takes him around the country, performing in all manner of venues for all manner of people. He is active in the Nashville filmmaking scene, and specializes as a character actor for feature films, shorts, and commercials.
